Eternal Glory

Less than 24 hours remain before Dwayne is scheduled to be in surgery. The past few days have been long ones, and we spend much time in prayer. God says that our troubles here are but momentary and light when compared with the weight of eternal glory. Please continue to pray for us, and if God impresses on you the need to fast and pray, please consider how you might be obedient in that as well.

Yesterday my (Janet's) mom slipped away peacefully from her momentary troubles here on earth into her eternal glory with her Savior, Lord and Friend, Jesus Christ. Please also pray for our family as we plan her service and remember her legacy and give glory to God for her.

Hi there Janet and Dwayne
I am so sorry to hear about your MOM...she was a great woman!
Just know that my prayers are with you today as you grieve and as Dwayne goes for surgery tomorrow. I really can't say I know what you are going through but I do know that God takes each of us on a different journey and I will pray for grace on that journey. It just saddens me to know that there is nothing I can really do to help, I am a doer, always in need to be in control, but the greatest gift I know I can give you is to pray. God is in control...and that in lots of ways is better than if I was in control.
My prayers are with you
Crystal

You've been non-stop in our prayers; on our hearts. Doubly saddened to hear of your Mom's passing, Janet. We are asking for God's grace to abound tomorrow.

Dwayne & Janet and children
Just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We don't understand why your family needs to experience so much grief at this time. What we do know is that our God will provide the strengh that we all need in our hour of need. May you experience His unending love and care for you today and in the days ahead.

I rejoice with you for the legacy of your Mom, and that we know a mansion is prepared for her! I also recognize your sense of loss. My prayers are and will be with you both as you grieve and anticipate surgery.

I heard about Dwayne's health situation yesterday through Rudy and Anita Dyck. I knew Dwayne back when we were both teenagers at Redberry Bible Camp and I believe I also attended your wedding as the guest of Gerald Harder.

Anyway, how my heart hurts for all you are going through but please know that someone in Edmonton is praying very hard for the God of all miracles to provide a miracle and the peace that passes understanding.

I will pray for you all in the hours and days and months ahead.

In Him,
Stacey Bell (nee Unger)

Janet and Dwayne,
Praying for both of you. Praying for a safe and quick surgery tomorrow for Dwayne and a quick recovery. You will certainly be on my mind tomorrow. Waiting to hear a good report!

Janet, sorry to hear about the death of your Mom. I know it has to come to all of us one day, but it's still hard. But, one day, you'll see her again! That's the wonderful part! Praying for comfort for you and your family through the next days.

Just letting you know that your family is in my prayers. Words don't seem to be enough and seem to be so hollow and empty when I think of what to try to say to you that will be of comfort to you at this time... but I continue to pray....for strength, wisdom, rest, and peace for you. You will all be remembered tomorrow as Dwayne goes for this surgery. God is truly a God of miracles and wonder.

Greetings from a former West Portal family. We were there when you were first introduced as the church plant pastor. We were impressed when we heard of your great success with the church growth. We wept when we heard of the difficult journey that you must follow now. Words just do not begin to comfort you and yours right now. Only the knowledge that someday we will all have an unbelievable freedom. We will not be hindered by sickness, or pain. Fear and sadness will not exist. Prayers are the most powerful weapons against all these worldly hinderances. My family's prayers are with your family.
